More on Earmarking
By Chris Farris | July 26, 2006
The Club for Growth has a campaign going tracking how each Congressperson voted on Jeff Flake’s (R-AZ) recent amendments to strip away earmarks from appropriations bills.
Here is how our delegation from Georgia has voted:
| Congressman | % |
| Deal (R-10th) | 95% |
| Westmoreland (R-8th) | 95% |
| Norwood (R – 9th) | 89% |
| Price (R-6th) | 84% |
| Linder (R-7th) | 74% |
| Gingrey (R-11th) | 42% |
| Marshall (D-3rd) | 5% |
| Barrow (D-12th) | 0% |
| Bishop (D-2nd) | 0% |
| Kingston (R-1st) | 0% |
| Lewis (D-5th) | 0% |
| McKinney (D-4th) | 0% |
| Scott (D-13th) | 0% |
What do John Lewis, Cynthia McKinney, David Scott and Jack Kingston have in common? They voted against every amendment. Not the group I’d want to be associating with if I were Rep. Kingston.
